the final structure of all programs.

We can design school funded courses, user-pay, or a combination of
both, and can show you how to generate an ongoing music budget from
your new L.M.A music program!

Teacher Training
All LMA music instructors are trained ‘in-house’ by Learning Music Australia, and are accountable to the stringent guidelines that are set by L.M.A.
We provide all music instructors with ongoing training and mentoring, and continue to deliver training courses to musicians and music educators in the community. Duty of Care - Policy and Information
Learning Music Australia is a private music teaching service, contracted to teach private music lessons in D.E.C.S and non-D.E.C.S Schools in S.A.
We also provide tuition at LMA ‘Training centre’s’.
As a private service provider, is it our legal and moral obligation take reasonable care against fore-seeable risk of injury to all students that are participating in official LMA programs.
All LMA staff are made aware of the D.E.C.S and Catholic School ‘Duty of Care’ Policies.
All staff understand the importance of the policies - as they are designed for their own safety and for the safety of music course participants.
Terminology -
Reasonable Care – the care that a reasonable person would exercise under the circumstances; the standard for determining legal duty.
Foreseeable Risk - Foreseeable risk is the anticipated danger expected by a person of reasonable senses, based on his knowledge, experience or assumptions, as the result, outcome of an action.
Identify risks: any reasonably likely harmful effects of your actions and inactions. (The law calls this reasonable foresee ability). This is not the ability to 'see into the future', but using your skills, knowledge and experience.
If you identify a reasonably likely risk of harm, you must take reasonable care in
response - perfect care is not required! The principle of reasonable
care recognises that you have limited resources and limited ability to
protect people from harm.

- Developing and issuing standards to be observed in dealing with information obtained about the criminal history of employees and volunteers who work with children in government or non-government organisations.
All government organisations and certain non-government organisations must establish appropriate policies and procedures to establish and maintain child safe environments.
